Social Welfare – Blue Nautilus
Committed to the sea and to people
At Nautilus Dragados we understand that the sea is not only our work environment, but a source of life, culture and hope.
Our Social Work was created with the purpose of bringing the sea closer to society, especially to those who need it most, promoting values of respect, knowledge and care of the marine environment.
Because protecting the sea also means sharing it.
Our reason for being
Nautilus’s Social Work has three main objectives:
- Bringing the sea closer to children and adults
- Promote environmental education and maritime culture
- To generate a positive social impact in our environment
We develop educational, cultural and solidarity programs focused on the sea as an inspiring and transformative element.
Our Programs
Our Social Welfare program carries out its activities through several strategic programs:

Blue Sea Hope
A solidarity program aimed at bringing the sea to hospitalized children or those with various illnesses.
Through educational activities, audiovisual materials, sensory experiences, and creative workshops, we bring knowledge of the sea, its species, and its environmental importance to hospitals.
The goal is to provide joy, learning, and moments of escape during difficult times.

Málaga Blue Program
An educational initiative developed in schools to promote environmental awareness, respect for the coastline, and the importance of marine sustainability. It includes:
- Informative talks
- Teaching materials
- Participatory workshops
- Introduction to the Blue Economy
We seek to awaken vocations, generate ecological awareness and strengthen maritime culture in new generations.

Little Blue Pirates
Annual children’s painting and story competition focused on the sea.
Aimed at children and young people, the program promotes creativity, imagination and environmental awareness through art and writing.
The sea becomes a source of inspiration, knowledge, and commitment.

The Sea in Residences and Senior Centers
A program designed for residences and senior centers, where we bring the sea closer through:
- Informative talks
- Audiovisual projections
- Cultural activities
- Spaces for conversation and memory
The sea is part of the history of many generations, and this program seeks to reconnect with memories, experiences and values linked to the maritime environment.
Education, Culture and Commitment
Nautilus Dragados’ Social Welfare Program integrates fundamental values:
- Solidarity
- Environmental education
- Maritime culture
- Intergenerational inclusion
- Commitment to the environment
Our purpose is for the sea to be a bridge between generations and an engine of environmental awareness.
Looking to the future
