During the PROA 2026 Awards Gala, held in the Port of Motril, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development of the Andalusian Regional Government, Ramón Fernández-Pacheco, highlighted the importance of continuing to promote innovative business projects capable of strengthening Andalusia’s leadership within the Blue Economy.

Following the awards ceremony, Fernández-Pacheco highlighted the role of new business initiatives in generating employment, wealth, and innovation, emphasizing the need to continue supporting companies capable of providing innovative and sustainable solutions for the economic development of the autonomous community.

In response to the question: How important are companies like Nautilus Dragados to the Blue Economy? The advisor stated:

“These are companies that dare to do different things in traditional sectors. I think that in Andalusia, Nautilus represents very well what innovation in the blue economy means.”

The interview took place within the framework of a particularly significant edition of the PROA Awards, organized by the Maritime-Marine Cluster of Andalusia, where Nautilus Dragados was distinguished with the PROA 2026 New Company Award, a recognition that highlights the growth potential and innovative capacity of the company within the maritime sector.
