Reunión de FCC con Nautilus

At Nautilus Dragados we continue to take firm steps in our consolidation as one of the most innovative companies in the field of environmental dredging, the restoration of aquatic ecosystems and engineering applied to the Blue Economy.

Following the presentation of our technological solutions during a Blue Economy meeting held a few months ago in Seville, Rafael de Gabriel García, Commercial Director of Gamasur (FCC Group), showed a special interest in the working methodology and capabilities developed by our company.

From that first contact, various conversations began between Rafael de Gabriel García, Commercial Director of Gamasur (FCC Group), and members of several FCC executives and the management team of Nautilus Dragados, which have culminated in the holding of a first technical and strategic meeting with those responsible for the main areas of FCC Ámbito.

The meeting, held via videoconference, was attended on behalf of Nautilus Dragados by Francisco Manen, CEO and founder of the company, and Toni Fernández, Director of Logistics and Institutional Relations.

The following representatives from FCC Ámbito attended:

  • José María Caleya – Head of the Department of Contaminated Soils and Special Operations.
  • José Antonio Carrero – Department of Contaminated Soils and Special Operations.
  • Agustín Ollero – Technical and Operations Director.
  • Jaime Moraleda – Head of Engineering.
  • Carolina Viceira – Sales Manager for Eastern Andalusia and Murcia.
  • José Ignacio Pérez García – Manager of Gamasur.
  • Rafael de Gabriel García – Commercial Director of Gamasur.
FCC meeting with Nautilus

During the meeting, Nautilus Dragados presented the solutions developed by the company for sustainable precision dredging, environmental recovery of seabeds, beach regeneration, port maintenance, restoration of rivers and reservoirs, sediment management and actions in environments that are especially sensitive from an environmental point of view.

In addition, different areas of collaboration were analyzed in which the experience and technology developed by Nautilus Dragados can complement the capabilities of FCC Ámbito in environmental restoration projects and special works.

According to Francisco Manen, CEO and founder of Nautilus Dragados:

“It is especially significant for us that the interest in our company has originated from a technical forum like the Andalusian Blue Economy Strategy. It demonstrates that the innovation and systems we have developed over the years are attracting the interest of some of the most important companies in the sector. We will continue working to provide increasingly efficient, sustainable, and technologically advanced solutions.”

This meeting represents a new step within Nautilus Dragados’ growth strategy, based on collaboration with large business groups and institutions to address the environmental and engineering challenges demanded by the future of the Blue Economy.

The meeting confirms, once again, the growing recognition that Nautilus Dragados is gaining within the sector, consolidating its position as a company specializing in high-value technological solutions for the recovery and conservation of aquatic ecosystems.
